In 2003, their new format of somewhat smaller and more specialized meetings held every two years was established, and hence, International Workshops on Surface Physics (IWSP) emerged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Already the 10th in this well-recognised series, the <strong>11<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0IWSP<\/strong> will be held on <strong>20-24 September 2026.<\/strong> As a rule, the meeting will take place in one of the little towns located among the picturesque hills nearby Wroc\u0142aw. Each workshop highlights a selected important topic in surface science.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The leading theme of the forthcoming 11<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;IWSP is<span style=\"color: var(--ast-global-color-0);\" class=\"stk-highlight\"> &#8220;<em>From the bulk to the surface of a solid<\/em>&#8221;. <\/span>The idea is to provide an overview of the current state of research in this field, report the latest achievements, show perspectives and discuss the most probable paths of progress of surface science. Among others, the scientific program of 11<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;IWSP will cover such phenomena.
